As a mom of three and a designer who's been at this for over 30 years (has it really been that long?!), I've always found my happy place in creating. My journey's been quite the ride, from diving headfirst into the exciting world of fashion and even launching a few award-winning boutiques. But it's through Touchstone, my line of Braille-inspired jewelry, that I feel like I've truly hit my stride.
The idea of "hidden message" jewelry just clicks with me. It’s like having your own secret cheerleader, a little reminder of what truly matters, or a whispered "you got this" when you need it most. And let's be real, who doesn't need a tiny, sparkly kick in the pants sometimes?
This deeply personal path in design was sparked by my own life, especially as a mom to an amazing son with a vision challenge. It's also led me to connect with and support the wonderful Braille Institute, an organization that's become incredibly close to my heart.
