EVERWILD'S
PRESERVATION PROJECT

Everwild Design's Preservation Efforts

From the start, we had a mission to develop a company that would protect our natural spaces and cause no harm. To achieve this, we chose to partner with the Adopt-a-Wildlife Acre program of the National Wildlife Federation, an excellent fit for Everwild. Through this program, the NWF resolves conflicts between livestock and wildlife by using a voluntary and market-based approach.

To determine the fair market value of the grazing allotment, the NWF negotiates with state governments to permanently reserve BLM lands and offer ranchers a fair price in exchange for their agreement to retire their public land grazing leases. This method not only creates secure habitats for wildlife, but also creates a space where ranchers' cattle can graze without being impacted by conflicts.

Since its inception, this market-based conservation program has enabled wolves, grizzly bears, bighorn sheep, salmon, and many other species to be conserved by reducing the frequency of these conflicts. What began as a small program has now grown into something much bigger, with supporters investing nearly $10 million towards grazing retirements and securing over 1.5 million acres of vital habitat for wildlife!

Everwild is also supporting many other foundations, organizations, and charities, such as the World Wildlife Fund, National Resource Defense Council, The Nature Conservancy, A Million Trees, 4Ocean, and Ocean Conservancy. By combining our efforts and 'adopting' one acre of wilderness for every piece of jewelry purchased, we can preserve the wild and its creatures for all to enjoy. Your support is invaluable to us, and we are immensely grateful that you chose to live EverWild.
